Tift County-Lowndes

Lowndes comes to town with a 4-0 record and ranked number one in the state and third nationally.   The “Plowboys” have outscored their opponents 166-7 in four games this year.  The Blue Devils and Vikings have split the last 42 meetings with 21 wins each.  Lowndes has won 12 of the last 13 meetings.  The Vikings have won seven region championships and shared two other region titles.  They have won three of the last four AAAAA State Championships and five state championships total.  Written By: TCTC Historian/Public Relations: Ronnie Hall
